'Dirty Money' actor Javad Hashemi's sci-fi film ‘Tornado’, currently going through the final technical stages, will be ready for screening soon.
Directed and produced by Hashemi, the crew is wrapping up the editing stages and will begin the sound mixing work within the next few days.
‘Tornado’ was initially expected to be ready in time for the 37th annual Fajr Film Festival; however the filmmakers decided to aim for a summer deadline instead.
Created for a teenage audience, the film’s storyline is about a professor who starts his own restaurant which ultimately turns into a spaceship.
A group of troublemaking teens come along, causing the spaceship to take off into space, and finally landing on a faraway planet.
Prominent actors Akbar Abdi, Kamran Tafti, Behnoush Bakhtiyari, Arsalan Qasemi and Elnaz Habibi are among the film’s cast.
Director Javad Hashemi’s film ‘White Forehead 2’ is currently being screened in Iranian theaters, with the film’s trilogy expected to be ready by the upcoming Iranian New Year in March.
